Research project to create data base on non-residential buildings

The Bremer Energie Institut was comissioned in cooperation with Fraunhofer ISI, the university of Bremen and the national chimney sweeper association to analyze the existing non-residential buildings in Germany. The aim of the project is to develop and text possibilities for the assessment and generation of data on the energetic quality, energy consumption and on the use of renewable energies in non-residential buildings. This will significantly improve the availability of data on non-residential buildings and thus contribute to the development of policy instruments for reaching the climate goals and for continuing the refurbishment plans. The project runs for 2 years.
